West London wonder Rushy is back with his new single, “Koko Krazy”, pairing a refined, strings-led production from Yogic with barbed rhymes for his rivals and tough love for his peers.
Rushy scored a few big successes early in his career. “Pressure” was a breakout smash and works with Ashbeck and AntsLive assured his rise. He hasn’t let it go to his head, though, because on this new single he urges anyone having their ‘moment’ to keep working and resist the temptation to dine out on old glories.
Rushy’s neck of London has produced some of rap’s biggest and most exciting new talents, including Bawo and Knucks. With those early successes, if he can practice what he preaches, there’s no reason he won’t follow in their footsteps.
