Besides an appearance alongside Ray BLK on Rimzee’s “Ghetto”, masked rhyme-slinger Meekz from Manchester has been a little quiet lately. Back with his first release since the Meekzness project last December, the rapper shares new single “Mini Me’s”, as well as news of his second mixtape, TRU.
Tooled with a steely rap production from Zeeshan, “Mini Me’s” is Meekz coming to collect. Taking aim at rappers he feels have imitated his style and delivery, he takes his place at the head of the table and sets out plans for a new era of zero tolerance.
Meekz himself co-directs the video alongside KC Locke and it gives us Meekz’s POV of said table which he’s filled with doppelgangers to illustrate his point. The rest of the video takes us into video game mode, with shots of Meekz hanging from a helicopter and scaling the heights of a futuristic landscape.
