AyStar, the Liverpool-hailing rap star, has scored himself a hit thanks to Netflix’s The Gentlemen.
The hit TV series, which was written and directed by Guy Ritchie, stars Theo James and Kaya Scodelario and features everyone from Breaking Bad’s Giancarlo Esposito to Vinnie Jones and Ray Winstone—and it also features AyStar’s “Kop That Shit” on the soundtrack. Wisely capitalising on the moment, the Scouse rhymer has gone big with a blockbuster remix featuring Potter Payper and Skrapz.
Even smarter, he’s already dropped the video. Decked out in their finest tweed suits and smoking jackets, the three rap titans lean heavily into the whole country manor crime lord aesthetic—and it suits them perfectly.
